Meet the Family Behind ABC Building Group
ABC Building Group is a family-owned company rooted right here in Middle Tennessee. Owned and operated by Barrow Brown alongside his wife, Carla, and their daughter, Ashtyn Claire, our company was built on a simple belief: do things the right way, communicate clearly, and never compromise on quality.
Our name reflects the family behind the business — Ashtyn, Barrow, and Carla. That family-first mindset shapes the way we approach every project. Whether we are building a custom home, a barndominium, or a commercial space, we believe every client deserves honesty, professionalism, and craftsmanship built to last.

Natalie Grogan
Office Manager | ABC Renovations & ABC Home Building Group
With deep roots in Middle Tennessee and over 16 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Natalie Grogan brings organization, compassion, and reliability to her role as Office Manager for ABC Renovations and ABC Home Building Group. Natalie has been married to her husband, Greg, for 27 years and is a proud 22-year breast cancer survivor—an experience that shaped her strong work ethic, resilience, and people-first approach. Before joining the ABC team, she spent 16 years working as an office coordinator and scheduler in healthcare, where attention to detail, clear communication, and trust were essential every day. Outside of the office, Natalie enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers in football and basketball. She is a devoted animal lover and shares her home with two dogs, River and Dollie. She is also actively involved in the women’s group at her church and previously volunteered for many years with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life inMarshall County. What This Means for Our Clients: As Office Manager, Natalie is often the first friendly voice clients hear when they contact ABC. She helps guide homeowners through the renovation or building process by keeping projects organized, schedules on track, and communication clear every step of the way. From coordinating timelines to answering questions and ensuring details don’t fall through the cracks, her goal is to make each client’s experience a smooth, informed, and stress-free experience. Natalie understands that remodeling or building a home is a major investment, and she takes pride intreating every client with care, respect, and transparency—just as she would want for her own family.

With deep roots in Columbia, Tennessee, Barrow Brown has built more than homes — he has built a reputation grounded in quality, integrity, and personal commitment. As the Owner and Lead Contractor of ABC Renovations and ABC Building Group, Barrow brings a hands-on approach and a craftsman’s mindset to every project his companies undertake. A 1992 graduate of Columbia Academy and a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Barrow’s foundation was formed right here in Middle Tennessee. His early career began in project management, where he developed a strong understanding of leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication. In 2014, he transitioned into the construction industry, combining his management expertise with his passion for building, and has never looked back.
